The word of the Lord came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the River Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was upon him there

Ezekiel 1:3

When the Word comes to you expressly, God expects you to receive it and do what is necessary for it to work in your life, rebuking evil and commanding it to leave. The next step is to trust in what has been revealed to you, believing that divine power has already acted. The Lord is faithful and will never promise anything He will not fulfill. It is good to live in communion with Him!

Balaam, called a mercenary prophet, accepted the offer of Balak, king of Moab. However, God commanded the prophet to speak only what He told him. So Balaam did as the Lord instructed: “He has not observed iniquity in Jacob, nor has He seen wickedness in Israel. The Lord his God is with him, and the shout of a King is among them. (Numbers 23:21). God was with Israel!

The Moabite king insisted that Balaam should curse the children of Israel. However, he only spoke good things; otherwise, he would be punished. In all the territories where the Israelites were persecuted, the Lord's justice protected them. Balaam continued to declare what he saw concerning Israel: God brings them out of Egypt; He has strength like a wild ox. (Numbers 23.22). He is just!

The prophet still had more to say. According to him, not even the rulers of the kingdom of darkness, nor the evil-minded of any religion, could curse the people of the Most High: “For there is no sorcery against Jacob, nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob and of Israel, ‘Oh, what God has done!’ (Numbers 23:23). When Moses' veil is removed from the Israelites, they will come to love Jesus!

Balaam's words from the throne of the Lord should be understood as a message for everyone. The chosen people have managed to survive until now and will certainly never be dominated by any world power: Look, a people rises like a lioness, and lifts itself up like a lion; it shall not lie down until it devours the prey, and drinks the blood of the slain.” (Numbers 23:24). We have not yet learned all that we have in God!

Every time you are in church, whether preaching or listening to someone minister the Word, do not let yourself be distracted by anything that interferes with your concentration. The enemy will try to distract you and thus prevent you from receiving, from the Father’s hands, the confirmation of the message. The Word will come straight to your heart, and you will know what God's will is for your life. God speaks!

When the Word comes expressly to give you the answer from Heaven, you will know how to carry out what the Most High has revealed to you. Therefore, be strong and resolute, for the hand of the Lord will be upon you. Allow God to work in your life and in the lives of others through you.

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

Faithful Lord! Learning to live by faith is one of Your great blessings. With it, we accomplish Your will. After understanding Your voice, we will gather victories in You and will never be put to shame!

Help us to practice Your Word, for we do not want to be religious people who know almost nothing about Your plan for humanity. It is sad to see people spending time on things that do not lead them to You. We cry out for Your favor!

We desire to know You more and more. Therefore, teach us everything that pertains to life and godliness. Your power will accomplish this when we pray with faith and determination. It is important to live at Your feet, obeying Your Word!
