And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist

Colossians 1.17

When God formed the spiritual and physical worlds, the entire universe, He called upon His Son, His Word (Colossians 1:16). We do not know how much time passed after the Lord created the angels and other beings of the spiritual realm before He created the material world. The Bible says nothing about this. In Genesis, however, the creation of what is on Earth is mentioned to help us understand that everything came into being under the Father's command, which the Son fully obeyed (John 1:1-3).

The more you know the Holy Bible and base your life on it, the better you will live and never be interested in the offers of the evil one. The Word declares: You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it (John 8.44). Believe in the Truth!

Many people seek to know what God has not shown them. However, these are things that they are not meant to see or experience. Regarding this, the Scriptures say: The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law. (Deuteronomy 29.29). Those who ventured to discover the unrevealed mysteries were upset and corrupted.

Those who are born again, having surrendered themselves to Christ, should seek the same wisdom seen in Him. When speaking about His works, He declared: I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me. (John 5.30). Walking with prudence, those who keep the divine commandments will never fall into snares (Psalm 31:23).

The apostle Paul said that in Him all things consist, Jesus, the divine Word who humbled Himself by coming into this world for the purpose of saving us, taking us to Heaven, and seeing the Father glorified through His Name (Philippians 2:6-11). It is amazing how the deceiver led Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, falling from grace and being separated from the Creator by the sin they committed (Genesis 3). Remember: everything that is wrong in the world came about with the fall of man (Romans 5:12).

However, we cannot continue to lament what happened in the Garden of Eden, because Jesus has already taken upon Himself the evils and sufferings (Isaiah 53:4-6). The Son of God is the Lamb of God who came to atone for our sins (John 1:29) and destroy the works of the devil, as the Word says: For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3.8b).

Christ had to go to Hell alone when He died (Ephesians 4:9). He took our transgressions upon Himself and became sin for us, even though He had no sin. Jesus died to free us from the sting of death and the dominion of the devil. As Paul said: O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?”(1 Corinthians 15.55).

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

Beloved Lord! Jesus, the Lamb, took away our sin, so that we might be Your joy and delight. Now, in Your presence, we thank You for this deed. Your name will be preached throughout the world, so that others may enjoy Your favor!

We must not be shy in speaking of Your great act of love, for through it, You provided for humanity entrance and life in Your Kingdom forever, when Your Son paid our debt and redeemed us from Adam's sin. You are perfect!

Your Son is the Firstborn of all creation and came into the world to die and bring us salvation. Father, by becoming Your children, we cease to be condemned and become victorious through Christ!
