Now this is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death
Deuteronomy 33:1
The Lord fulfills all His promises to those who make a covenant with Him and seek His help. God teaches people to walk in the path of righteousness. However, those who refuse to accept the Truth turn away from Him and open themselves to the influence of the kingdom of darkness, for they begin to delight in sinful thoughts and desires. Those who do not repent will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone (Revelation 21:8)!
The same thing will happen to those who harbor impure thoughts, for they will inevitably give in to sin. Such individuals will not be spared from the judgments announced in the Scriptures. We need to improve our love and service to God. Those who think that the Lord needs them and therefore will not allow them to be handed over to the enemy, who leads them astray, are mistaken. After all, the devil does not even like those who serve him!
The base verse of this study tells us that Moses was a man of God and, before he died, had a blessing to give to all the Israelites. Men and women are part of the divine plan to populate the Earth. Some, however, are careless and live as though everything in this world were eternal, including themselves. Those who refuse to love, know, and serve the Lord must be warned that one day they will give account for their deeds and words (Ecclesiastes 11:9; 12:13,14).
Sensing that his departure was near, Moses summoned the children of Israel for an important meeting. In it, he emphasized the importance of fearing God, reflected on the servants of the past, and highlighted the need to serve the Lord with a whole heart. Then he blessed each of Jacob’s sons, summarizing what would become of them after his departure. A man of God must be concerned with blessing the Lord's flock.
To be considered a servant of the Most High, a man must have Heaven's testimony regarding his actions and the teachings he delivers. People learn more by seeing how much he values God's promises than by merely hearing his words. When the Lord uses us in wonderful ways, even the lost recognize us as His servants. Those who witness conversions and healings know that we have been instruments in the Father's hands.
Everyone rejoices when God uses us, just as He did with Jesus, and people say they have never seen anything like it. Let us be servants ready to obey the Lord, and He will honor us whenever we have blessed someone. The affection we need does not come merely from a brotherly hug, but from sincere communication with family, friends, and those who witness the wonders the Most High performs with grace and power through us. Strive to be accepted as a servant!
In those days, Moses blessed the children of Israel. Today, we must bless the members of our congregation, the pastors who lead us, and the people who have not yet experienced that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). God moves us to speak of His love, His promises, and He fulfills them completely!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
Father of eternal blessings to Israel! Your Covenant with Abraham was fulfilled in and through Jesus during His ministry on Earth. Even today, the children of this patriarch groan under the burden they carry for being Jewish. One day, they will convert to Christ, and You will be pleased with them!
We want to leave blessings for the next generation, which will rise up to share with others the knowledge of Your Son, our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ. Revive Your Church, so that the lost may be saved and come to love You!
Finally, we pray for the pastors who will carry out Your work in the future, that they may be like the first ones You called to serve in Your ministry. We are grateful that You have allowed us to know the Truth and to proclaim it to the lost of every nation!
