Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father”
John 4.21
Jesus said that anyone who asks in His Name will be heard, and this leads us to believe in Him. The Savior didn't make it difficult for us to go to the Father, as long as we use His Name: Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full (John 16:24). It's time to make an effort to gain access to the blessings of the Most High. So let's be quick to ask and to give thanks too!
In Holy Scripture, you'll find a thousand reasons to put your faith in the Master. Your petitions made in His Name will be answered according to the heart of the Father and not of man. Every biblical promise has the Savior's yes, so you can claim it. To do this, read the Word and meditate on it. In Christ, you are more than a conqueror over all things (Romans 8:37).
In the world, there are many things that seem to come from God, but they are nothing more than the speculations of people who invent premises out of their hearts lost in crime. Now, it doesn't matter what title someone receives, but what the Most High promises to those who give Him credit. Jesus said: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
The Samaritan woman asked the Master about the right place to worship God. As her people were not Jewish, but claimed to be God's too, she pointed to Mount Gerizim for this practice. Anyone who wants to get life right needs to believe in the Scriptures and abandon religious teachings. Christ declared: Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away (Matthew 24.35). The Word of the Lord is eternal!
Jesus was clear in saying that the act of worshipping God did not depend on being in a specific place. For example, nothing would be better or worse if it were in Jerusalem, even though it was the city of the Great King. In fact, true worship must be done in spirit and in truth (John 4.24). Religions suggest special places, but what matters is that it is done with heart, soul and strength. That way, the blessing will come!
Worshipping God is not about filling Him with nice words and feeling important. This act is like receiving food for the body, but it is our spirit that rises, and we come close to the Lord. The Most High is a true Father and loves to draw us into His presence. He strengthens us to pray with power from on High and to put the devil under our feet (Romans 16:20). Believe to live the faith!
The hour mentioned by Jesus in the verse has already come. He has stripped away the devil and the forces of the kingdom of darkness, which can no longer prevent us from talking to the Father in Heaven. When we are under the Lord's command, we worship Him in our hearts, speaking of His love bestowed upon us and our trust in Him. In Christ Jesus, we love God!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
Lord, our Father! No matter where we are, the curse that kept us from coming to You has been broken, and the way is open for us to come to You, praising and magnifying You!
The woman was in doubt about where to worship You, but You taught her that it's not the place, but the purpose: in spirit and in truth. In this way, we will have Your help and we will be victorious in our battles!
Now, we raise up our voices against everything that tries to stop us from doing what You want us to do. God, be glorified by our actions. May we bear good witness and honor Your holy Name. We are grateful that You speak the Truth to us!
