According to Your name, O God, so is Your praise to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness

Psalm 48.10

Jesus' obedience to the Father and the challenges He faced in becoming human caused Him to be exalted supremely. For this reason, He received a Name that is above all other names, both in the spiritual and material realms: Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name (Philippians 2.9). This proves that it is worthwhile to take on the position of God's servant, for the reward will be great!

Although He was in the form of God, Jesus did not consider equality with God something to be grasped; on the contrary, He chose to annihilate Himself, taking the form of a servant and becoming like man. Then, found in this manner, He humbled Himself, accepting obedience to the Father even to death, and death on a cross. Christ is the greatest example of obedience seen to date. Why not cooperate with the Lord in His work of redeeming humanity?

In our daily lives, we must have the eyes of Christ, who saw the Father's desired work being accomplished as planned. Thus, the Son was graced with the Name that is Lord and King in all spheres of eternal life. At His Name, every knee will bow: in Heaven, the angels; on Earth, men; and under the Earth, demons. What a reward He earned! Today, He is King of kings and Lord of lords!

There is no dispute between the three persons of the Holy Trinity, but rather complete unity. As for us, we are not yet what we will be, but the day will come when we will be like the Lord: Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is (1 John 3.2). God is beautiful!

The psalmist reached this understanding more than three thousand years ago, and we still do not know the full meaning of it. The biblical text says that, according to the Name of the Lord, so shall be the praise we give Him. By living this Word and loving His Name with all our hearts, we will give Him perfect praise. This means that we will have the blessings we need, which the Scriptures speak of. We are God's people!

This understanding must reach the ends of the earth, so that our brothers and sisters in other nations may also be filled with all that God has planned for everyone. After all, He does not show partiality. We will do good for our generation if we act in this way! Jesus proclaimed the Gospel and told us that we must believe in the Good News. He is the power of God (Romans 1:16)!

Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father, which is filled with the righteousness fulfilled by the Savior Himself in the regions of death, where He stripped all the authorities of the kingdom of darkness of the power they stole from Adam. Jesus is the second Adam, who recovered us for His God and Father. We must execute divine justice now!

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

Father, Help and Strength! Before the heavenly feast, our prayer is that You be our Help, so that we may live as You have planned, and our Refuge, so that we may partake of Your good and exalted majesty!

We want to know Your Name, so that we may give You perfect praise! We need You, Lord! We see in all this the responsibility of preaching the Truth to the people. Thus, all will be freed from the evil yoke!

We must go to the ends of the Earth to teach people how to do Your will and live in Your presence. We need to know You as You are and give You the place of Lord over us. Justice is not lacking at Your right hand. We thank You for this!
