THE NECESSARY FOR LIFE

The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them.

Proverbs 11.3

No one needs to live praying and weeping before God for Him to help them find the path to eternal life. Read Solomon's conclusion: I returned and saw under the sun that - the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all. (Ecclesiastes 9.11). Believe and live!

Many people are upright and don't accept another person's mistake, but they also don't have a sincere heart. This is bad, because God sees inside people and not what they say. The Word declares: For the upright will dwell in the land, and the blameless will remain in it (Proverbs 2.21) The difference is stark between the upright and the sincere. The upright will inhabit the earth for a while, but the sincere will remain in it. It's better to be truthful!

By straying into wickedness, one receives an agent of Hell, which will harm anyone who comes near it. It is incompatible to be part of the Body of Christ and have an evil spirit within you. The Word speaks on this subject: For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord, but His secret counsel is with the upright. (Proverbs 3.32). Why be an abomination and not God's pleasure?

We are often stunned by the attitudes of some who preach heresy, denying the Truth. What bothers us most is that they were on our side, but they live contrary to the Scriptures, like real wolves in a sheepfold: For there must also be factions among you, that those who are approved may be recognized among you.  (1 Corinthians 11.19). It is sad for God to see them acting in the midst of holy people!

The wicked are known for the messes they make in the four corners of the world. The Church of Christ should be a place of peace, where the saved and the unsaved come together to seek heavenly love and, in fact, serve the Lord. Paul spoke about the heresies that come to show up the sincere: that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ(Philippians 1.10).

God's children need to be prepared for Christ's return, when the angels from heaven will separate humanity into two groups, like a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. If they remain among them, they will be killed. Being sincere should be our goal: that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, (Philippians 2.15). Make the good choice!

Your sincerity will lead you to eternal happiness, but your lack of it will lead you to perdition, being thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone along with the unregenerate. Look at what is in your soul and never let wickedness inhabit your being. If there is anything that incriminates you, confess it to the Lord, who will set you free.

Today's Prayer

Honest, holy and loving God! We want to have Your qualifications, so that the kingdom of darkness does not have us in its midst. We want to be well with You, to do all that is worthy. Help us, beloved Father, for we cannot lose our way!

We long for the same change You made in Saul of Tarsus, who burned with hatred against your Church, imprisoning our brothers and even allowing Stephen to die. Evil cannot exist in those who pray with me. Deliver them!

We must live blameless in the midst of this corrupted generation. We need to go wherever You send us in order to lead to salvation those who are doing Satan's will. Don't let the saved become lost, but give everyone the gift of your mercy!
