THEY ARE LIKE BEASTS

Nevertheless man, though in honor, does not remain; he is like the beasts that perish
Psalm 49.12
Death separates us not only from the things that exist in the world, but also from those who have not accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord. Although many are honored and feel important, they are like beasts that perish. If they are not born again, they will never know the Kingdom of God, the kingdom of holiness, where death will never enter. Woe to those who have not surrendered to Christ!
The honor given to these people will no longer accompany them in death. They may even refuse some offer from the devil today, but by remaining on his side in the kingdom of evil, they will see how much it hurts to rebel against the voice of God. If they continue in this way, they will walk toward eternal condemnation. They need to surrender to Christ and experience His love and forgiveness (John 3:16-20).
Man is born with the destiny of eternal death, but when he hears the Good News of what Jesus did for humanity and accepts His sacrifice on the cross, he can enter the Kingdom of holiness. We must proclaim the Gospel to the lost so that they may change direction; otherwise, their future will be perdition that will never end. Do not ignore the divine warnings! The Lord is the Truth!
Everyone will have the chance to convert and be born again of water and the Spirit, so that they may be called children of God. However, those who refuse the Lord's invitation will not have their lives transformed. On Judgment Day, two types of people will be grouped together: those who do not know God—these will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone (Revelation 20:11-15)—and the redeemed, who will ascend with Jesus to Heaven when He comes to gather His beloved Church (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). Watch, pray, and believe!
The Master told a parable that illustrates what happens after death. Everyone will have their body thrown into the grave, while their soul will unite with the spirit and return to God, so that He may give them their eternal destiny (Luke 16:19-31). Those who are born again because they have surrendered to Christ will ascend with Him. Those who reject the holy invitation will go where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth forever.
In the story told by Christ, we see the rich man and the beggar Lazarus in different places. While the rich man was among the dead in eternal torment, the beggar was in Abraham's bosom. The rich man saw Lazarus being comforted in a good place, where there is no pain or sin. In desperation, he cried out to Abraham that Lazarus should at least dip the tip of his finger in water and cool his tongue, but the father of faith said that this was impossible.
Abraham explained that there was a separation between them, and no one could pass from one place to the other. The rich man then asked Abraham to send Lazarus to warn his brothers about the importance of living their faith in Christ correctly, so that they would not be condemned. The answer was that they should listen to Moses and the prophets, that is, the Holy Scriptures. Make your decision now!

Today's Prayer
Father of eternal love! Many people are deceived, living for the world and its filthy pleasures. They should enjoy all the good You created for those who receive You in life. The saved will never be confounded after death!
We want to stand before You every day to rejoice. You alone are worthy of our worship! We know You rejoice when Your children seek Your help to live according to Your Word. We cry out for Your love and help!
May people wake up and abandon everything the flesh cherishes. Many live in ignorance, unaware that they are walking toward the end You have determined. The only solution is to receive Your Son as their sufficient Savior and abandon sin!
