When the Savior entered the world of the dead, there was a mission to fulfill there. The coastlands, gatherings of evil spirits, saw Jesus and feared Him. These, before following Lucifer and becoming demons, were good angels; and, in the presence of the Creator of all, they did not know what to do. The Lord went to that place to defeat the chief of Hell and his subjects. It was impossible for the kingdom of evil to have the King of kings in its domain!

When Lucifer, the bearer of light, transformed into Satan, the enemy, he lost the beauty that adorned him. This being was the seal of perfection. The text continues: You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering: the sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created. (Ezekiel 28.13). Read up to verse 19.

The verse 15 says: You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you. Adam also did not obey the Lord and ate from the fruit, being cast out of the Paradise of the perfect God (Genesis 3). Our loss was huge, but Jesus went to the "house" of the prince of darkness and defeated him. Now, the serpent can no longer oppress us. Flee from temptation in order to live with God!

Let me summarize what it means to sin: to miss the mark, to deny obedience to the Word of the Lord. Whoever sins separates themselves from God at that very moment (Isaiah 59:1), which is why the Most High tells us: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  (1 John 1.9). We must do this to the Almighty and to those we have offended. This act, beside elevating

us, gives us dignity and does us good!

Someone might say that by confessing a betrayal, for example, that person "falls into the hands" of the betrayed, but that is not true. The author of this lie is the devil. When we sin, we become servants of the one who tempted us (Romans 6:16), and the adversary does not want us to stop being his slaves. So, open your heart and seek out those you have wronged and dishonored. The Lord will strengthen you!

The ends of the Earth trembled, but now, everyone, from anywhere, can go into the arms of Jesus. He will help you rise again. Do not remain prostrated in sadness, nor in the hands of the wicked, but rise up and start your life a new. God will make you a great victor. Remember: one of His specialties is healing the sickness of the soul. Never allow Satan to be your master. Jesus has already defeated him for you!

At this moment, you are the target of a great struggle. On one side, there is the tempter with his filthy fallacies; on the other, Jesus, who says: Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (Matthew 11.28,29).
