Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at His word: “Your brethren who hated you, who cast you out for My name’s sake, said, ‘Let the Lord be glorified, that we may see your joy.’ But they shall be ashamed.”
Isaiah 66.5
Some people call themselves saved, but they don't have the proper fear of God's Word. For this reason, they don't have the faith necessary to please the Lord. This pleasing, mentioned in the book of Hebrews, chapter 11, verse 6, means making way for the Most-High to work. Without this, it is impossible to experience His doing, even if you make an effort in prayer. It all starts with the trembling that needs to exist within us. In this way, we will be helped at the right time. God is good!
True fear of God makes us tremble at the thought of entering His presence, knowing that He wants to bless us. The Almighty is the Creator of all that exists; therefore, leaving Him aside is dangerous, as this would crown the devil as our possessor. Even thinking about it displeases the Lord, because He made us for a noble purpose: to be His children (John 1:11-13).
The Word of God takes the place of Jesus in His physical absence and transforms us. One minute of prayer done in faith changes our lives forever. We cannot let the enemy oppress us or act as he wishes against us. We must constantly remind ourselves that the Lord has defeated the evil one and destroyed his works, including Adam's authority to maintain his dominion over what we have, think or desire (Colossians 2:15). Free yourself from evil!
If you haven't been paying attention to the Word, start on the right path. Pray for forgiveness for your sins and accept Jesus as the true and powerful Savior and Lord of your life. These actions will make you victorious. By being defeated in Christ's death, the devil has lost his right over every area of human existence. Be freed from the snares of demons. By surrendering to Jesus, you will go to Heaven!
It's not enough to say that you respect the Lord; you have to comply with His commands, trembling and fearing before Him. The Lord's commands are the best directions. By following them, we free ourselves from the actions of Hell and become faithful servants. We have to carry out our mission, because the Lord has a purpose in His instructions and expects us to be firm in the ministry to which He has called us to. Never be irresponsible!
Those who annoy us use tricks to throw us off, trying to show that the Lord's hand is behind their deliberations. By distancing ourselves from these people, we can carry out God's work. The important thing is that the Lord is glorified by seeing our joy. Jesus said: Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. (Matthew 23.3).
Finally, try to do what you are commissioned to do, and God will reward you. Even if man oppresses us with some of his evil deeds, we will serve the Lord with joy, love and excellence.
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
Lord, before Whom we tremble and fear! We thank You for teaching us to serve You with joy. Our actions must prove that we are truly Your children. We will always heed Your command to go the extra mile.
We are instructed by You and led to do Your will. Therefore, nothing will take us away from obeying You. The test does not matter, but the result that will honor and glorify You. Thank You for the power of walking with You, which compels us to go the extra mile!
We pray for those who oppress us without reason. They will be confounded and then they will come to You to receive forgiveness and be useful in Your work. May our joy be to serve You with dedication!
