We need to be concerned about one thing: never think that we can move forward without God's presence. We must be at His feet continually, so we won't falter or move forward without His direction. The war is the Lord's. We are God's warriors, so we need to be in communion with Him. The counsel of the Most High is useful and necessary, so we cry out for His favor and help!

One day, Christ exhorted His disciples so strongly that most of them left and stopped walking with Him, as the Scriptures report: From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more (John 6.66). Who would they follow? Would they no longer care to make the effort to go to Heaven? Those who turn away have no idea what awaits them at the end of their days.

Looking at the 12 who remained with Him, the Master asked: Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?” (John 6.67) Yes, Christ's teaching was too deep for everyone, but the 12 were a little more firmly established than the others. The Lord knows the right time to speak!

Peter then opened his heart and was sincere in declaring: But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” (John 6.68,69). Now, in Glory, no one is like Jesus, so we should never do anything without God's guidance. After all, we don't even know how to pray properly (Romans 8:26). Only Jesus has the Word of life, so we have to come to Him.

When we take our eyes off the Master, we distance ourselves from perfection. Then our steps are taken without the right guidance. They will certainly take a direction we don't like. Outside the light, we walk in darkness. There is no way we can have communion with God if we do the will of the evil one. Get right with the Lord before it's too late. Never play with the Truth!

The life of a person who stops seeking the Lord and gets involved in sin will go from bad to worse. God and the devil are two opposites: the Most High is love and truth, while the enemy is hatred and everything bad that happens. Why seek help where the evil one dictates the rules? Why let yourself be led astray? In Christ, you will succeed here and in eternity. With the devil you will always be deceived (John 8:44; 10:10).

The powerful men of this world don't care who runs their lives, as long as they prosper and live dissolutely. But the day will come when they realize the error of their ways, and then, in desperation, they will seek the Lord, but they will not find Him. Then, for eternity, they will suffer the horrors of hell (Revelation 21:8).
