WHAT MAKES US JUSTIFIED

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

Galatians 2.16

Don't forget that man is not justified by the works of the Law. Never let people teach you an untruth. No matter how much someone mentions the requirements of the Law of Moses, no one can be cleared of their sins by doing charity, social work and prayer. All this is good, but it must be done according to the information in the Gospel - the Good News of what Jesus Christ did and taught us to do (Ephesians 2.8).

We are justified and please God through faith in Christ alone. Teaching to do what the Bible says that belongs to the past, when the Law was in force, and not the Lord's guidelines for today, will get us nowhere. Many strive, believe and receive nothing, because they abandon the simplicity of the Truth and act contrary to what Jesus recommended. We can only keep in touch with God by using faith!

Whoever understands the Scriptures and follows them is loved by the Lord. Never let Hell keep you in religious error, which is useless. When we go back to the Word, we learn that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37); then we are targets for the love of Jesus and the heavenly Father. This means that He has the promises and fulfills them in and for us (John 14:21).

Sadly, we see people living far from the Truth, acting as if the Lord were forgetful and reminding Him how He should proceed. However, God is the one who ultimately reminds us of what He wants to do in and for us. He Himself declares: Try to remember me; let us enter into judgment together; present your reasons, that I may justify you (Isaiah 43.26).

When we remember God, we are actually recalling that we have to claim the promises He has made. Jesus said: And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13). The word “ask” is best translated as “claim” what you discover belongs to you, taking possession of it and demanding that the evil that attacks you be removed. In this way, you will succeed. Be strong!

We must believe in Christ's words in order to receive faith and determine the blessing in our lives. In order to be cleared of the guilt of our iniquities, we must ask for forgiveness with conviction. No one will be justified by the works of the Law, but by faith in the Lord. When the faith that inhabited the Savior in His days on earth is in your heart, you will take possession of the abundant life brought by Him (Hebrews 11.6).

No one will be justified unless they are born again (John 3:3,5). But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His (Romans 8:9). Turn to God and He will exonerate you!

Today's Prayer

God, the only Justifier! We thank You for forgiving us and making us born again. We are no longer under the devil's thumb, because Your work has enabled us to be cleared of our guilt. Your love for us is inexplicable!

Give us wisdom to teach everyone about the work of justification, explaining that by confessing their transgressions, they will be made new creatures and thus people after Your heart. We are grateful to You for teaching us the way to salvation!

Deliver us from the deception of returning to the Law of Moses! We already have the law of freedom in Christ. By doing what it says, we please You. We always want to walk in the light of Jesus' face, so that we can carry out Your work with mastery. You have given us Your beautiful love and grace!
