The Galatians brothers stood out as quality workers, walking the true Path, the Lord Jesus, and not that of indecision. The person who strays from the Path takes shortcuts that will cause them to fall into the lake of fire and brimstone. Therefore, be vigilant about what is to come: Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4.1).

Turn your eyes to the past, when you almost fell into sin, and God delivered you, and reflect on your current attitudes. In how many areas has the devil tempted you, causing you to take steps toward sin and seeking to harm your life? The saved are the people set apart by the Most High, which is why the devil never takes his eyes off them, for he does not want to see them in the eternal glory of the Lord of lords!

In the verse under study, the Spirit of God addresses the saints, saying that they were running well and would surely reach the podium, like the One who overcame. However, they listened to the doctrines of the devil and his demons, who come to steal the blessing destined for the saved for all eternity. Ceasing to believe in the Lord and acting wrongly are attitudes that will lead us to perdition, as happened to Solomon when he began to listen to the requests of his wives (1 Kings 11:1-4).

What demon prevented him from obeying God? What excuse did you give for ceasing to follow the Lord? Undoubtedly, none of this came from God, but from Hell. The one who desires our evil is the devil, who resents us being the chosen people of the Most-High. It is certain that Jesus will seek out the saved, so if we are facing a crisis, we must resist (James 4:7), because sooner than we think, we will be in Heaven (Revelation 3:11).

Satan's tricks are strategies to divert you from God's purpose: to give you eternal salvation. When you encounter any suggestion from the devil, reject it outright. We have the best of the best plans designed for our happiness for ever and ever. Nothing is worth losing the blessings that await us in the hereafter. Why would we live far from the Truth?

It is time to meditate on the Word of God and return to the arms of the One who would never leave you or turn His back on you. The Lord will help you in your struggles! You can always rely on Him: But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.  (2 Timothy 4.17). This was Paul's experience in Rome. Watch and pray!

Obeying the Truth was what Samson failed to do. Influenced by Delilah, he became the shame of Israel. This man was supposed to free his people, but he did little. He wasted the blessings that had been prepared for him because of a woman from the enemy people. By falling in love with her, Samson sold himself to the Philistines, revealed the secret of the strength that operated in him, and, with his eyes gouged out, could say little (Judges 16:4-31). He did not free his people!
