WHO WILL WAGE WAR AGAINST US?

You shall seek them and not find them - those who contended with you. Those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing

Isaiah 41.12

There are two forces fighting for control over the human being. Maybe you ask: "Why so much interest?" We were created in the image and likeness of God, so we must have something special within us that we do not yet know (Genesis 1:26,27). From the Lord's side, He desires to restore us to His original plan, when He created us. Without salvation in Christ, our future would be one of affliction in the lake of fire and brimstone (Revelation 20:11-15).

On Satan's side, he strives to drag as many people as possible with him into torment, where he will also suffer to the same extent as those who did not want to listen to the Lord and refused to know what awaits them in that place of endless pain (Revelation 20:10). Even burning in eternal fire, the devil will torment the spirit of those who followed him. Mercy!

Our greatest struggle is to convince people of the seriousness of the Word. When it warns about what will happen at the end of times, it is not joking or making threats. God told Adam not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for he would die. However, Eve ate, and apparently, nothing happened immediately (Genesis 3). So, upon finding her, Adam also disobeyed the divine order (1 Timothy 2:14). With that, both were separated from the Creator. The price of transgression was extremely high!

The first couple was expelled from the Garden of Eden and saw all evil come upon them. Man and woman lost their innocence, and we inherited the consequences of that rebellion. So, to redeem them, the Heavenly Father had to deliver His Son to die for us and suffer all our iniquities, transgressions, and infirmities. Only through this sacrifice could our communion with the Most High be restored (Isaiah 53:4-6). This should be a reason for joy, not for rejection.

God continues to warn us of the danger we are in, but, unfortunately, there are people who choose to go against the work of salvation. Some even make jokes and mock the Lord for rescuing us. These will experience punishment in a place from which they will never emerge. What a sadness for the saved to see so many sinking into sin. The Almighty is not playing around; therefore, be wise and you will live!

Those who mock the Truth and pursue it are enemies of the Source of good, the Lord, and do not know that, in a short time, no one will hear of them anymore. Those who fight against us will be nothing and will go to Hell. May God have mercy on them, so that their eyes may be opened while there is still time. The Lord loves them too (1 Timothy 2:3-4)!

It is almost impossible to ignore this truth: many people considered valuable from a human perspective will go to perdition. Whoever falls there will remain in eternal torment. The saved will be in the world of perfection with the Lord. At this moment, I ask you: why don't you convert now?

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

Father of the beloved Savior! We feel tremendous pain when we think of the eternal suffering of those who do not want to know You and Your mercies. It is not possible for such a person to remain stubborn. It is sad to know that many reject what You did so that they might be redeemed.

We need to improve our preaching! Jesus came to teach us to do Your work and left the example. With tears, we cry out for so many people involved in sin. God, have mercy on them!

It is lamentable that they do not wish to see what we see, believe what we believe, and live with You as we live, despising Your endless love. Why are they so hard-hearted and do not accept that salvation is real and true? Help us to help them, Lord!
