To defeat Adam, Satan did not play "fair," but, as he always does, he lied to lead Eve to taste the fruit, whose prohibition was so that the first couple could prove themselves worthy of being in the presence of God (Genesis 3). However, they did not respect the Lord's prohibition. Adam sinned deliberately, and this act marked the entry of the devil into the world (1 Timothy 2:14). Watch and pray!

From then on, death – the nature of the devil – separated human beings from the Creator, leading man to partake in eternal death. Today, no one needs to do anything to go to the lake of fire and brimstone, because the automatic destiny of man is that place. However, Jesus left celestial Glory and became man to suffer our iniquities (Isaiah 53:4-6; John 3:16,17).

Death reigned from that day until the moment Moses proclaimed the Mosaic Law. With it, God showed what is good and how everyone should live so that eternal perdition would not reach them. Since keeping the Law is impossible, it also foretold the coming of the Messiah, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). Today, whoever receives Jesus as their Savior passes from death to life (John 5:24).

Today, the devil tempts a person to commit some mistake condemned by the Bible and return to being his servant. However, if they repent, they will soon be forgiven and return to the presence of the Lord. Those who live in sin are used to propagate error thru clothing, attitudes, or values. Now, sin only enters your life if you give in to temptation. Whoever confesses and forsakes all iniquity is forgiven at the moment of confession (Proverbs 28:13).

The servants of God who lived before the coming of Jesus and made an effort not to fall into temptation, believing in the promise of the Savior, when they died, did not go directly to Heaven, but remained in the bosom of Abraham, the future Paradise, where they awaited the time for Christ to fulfill His mission (Luke 16:19-31). Upon completing the work of salvation, Jesus crossed the wall of separation and entered where all the prophets and other faithful who awaited that day were, and took them directly to the Kingdom of God (Ephesians 4:8-10). The saved will go there (Luke 23:43).

After Jesus completed the work of redemption for humanity on the cross, the Word reveals: And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’ (Acts 2.21). Therefore, never let yourself be led astray by any transgression; simply invoke the Name of Christ and be saved. The verb in the Greek language translated as saved is sozo and means: healed in the soul, in the body, freed from sin, and in it, the understanding of prosperity. Follow the teachings of the Bible!

If you have not yet made the decision to be saved, do it right now and write down this deed in a place so you never forget the day and hour of your greatest blessing, which is going to Heaven, when your day comes or Jesus returns. The devil will no longer be able to oppress you, for, being a child of God, you are free from all evil (1 John 5:11,12,18).
